Compliance of the cosmetic ingredients with the Chinese regulation has become one of the most important topics for numerous cosmetic brands. CFDA (Chinese Food & Drug Admnistration) issued the final version of Inventory of Existing Cosmetic Ingredients in China (IECIC). A first version was issued in June 2014 and an updated version is now available since the end of 2015. The cosmetic industry can now check this inventory to make sure that their ingredients can be legally used in China or not. Ingredients included in the final version of IECIC are not "new cosmetic ingredients" in China and need not CFDA's approval before use. All the actives marketed by CARE ACTIV Ingredients are listed in the final version of IECIC and thus are authorized in China.
